- Family members caring for persons with Alzheimer's and other dementias;
- persons concerned about family and friends with dementia;
- family members who manage care provided by others for loved ones with dementia;
- people with dementia;
- community health care providers;
- nursing home, assisted living and adult day center staff, and
- others helping diagnosed individuals and families dealing with dementia.

Keynote Speakers:
Lela Knox Shanks
A scholar and a lecturer from Lincoln, Nebraska, Mrs. Shanks authored the widely acclaimed book Your Name is Hughes Hannibal Shanks: A Caregiver's Guide to Alzheimer's. She cared for her husband Hughes at home for 14 years prior to his death earlier this year.
Harry R. Moody, PhD
Executive Director, Brookdale Center on Aging of Hunter College, New York, New York.
Dr. Moody is author of over 75 articles, edited collections and several books. His latest book, The Five Stages of the Soul: Charting the Spiritual Passages that Shape Our Lives, has been hailed as "a rare and remarkable glimpse at the workings of the human heart."
